What does pending review mean in the Chrome Web Store?
It means the item is queued for review, not that a reviewer is currently working on it. Check the status beside the item in the developer dashboard. A queue status does not reveal your place or remaining wait.

The dedicated review-process guide says to contact developer support after more than three weeks pending review. Use its support form, rather than a forum post, for account-specific assistance. That threshold is not a completion guarantee.

Google’s 20 August 2026 update acknowledged earlier delays and said process changes had brought review times back to expected baselines. An older backlog post is therefore not enough to explain a pending submission today. WaitGraph does not monitor the live queue.
